Recorded at Bear Creek Studio, Seattle, with producer Ryan Hadlock; mixed by Kevin Augunas using a custom 16-track LCR monitoring board with no inbuilt EQ or compression. The only outboard effects on the mix were a Studer B67 slap-tape delay and the studio's echo chamber. Arrangement layers acoustic guitar, mandolin, cello, drums and 7+ stomp/clap percussion tracks around the lead vocal.
