Studio recording, 2001 (Origin of Symmetry era). Matt Bellamy used the Gibson Les Paul DC Lite for most of the Origin of Symmetry sessions, with the Soldano Decatone for high-gain tones and the Marshall JCM2000 DSL100 for lower-gain tones. The riff in 'Hyper Music' is high-gain and aggressive, so Soldano Decatone is most likely. No evidence of live/touring gear or later custom Manson guitars for this specific recording.
